Dragonmaine Flamewing (Ben) DOB 28/05/2010

It is with great sadness that we have been informed today by Gary and Jane that Ben (a dragon) had died from wounds sustained from being shot whilst playing near his home.

Our thoughts are with Jane and Gary who have had a really terrible year having lost their son Henry, and now Ben who was bought for Henry.

It is a stark reminder for owners to be aware that Mainecoons can be a target for these idiots out there with Full bore rifles not identifying what they are shooting at or for the mindless act of cruelty knowing what they are shooting at. I have nbeen informed that the RSPCA and Durham police are investigating.

Please make sure you know where your Dragons / Mainecoons are..

Dougie and 5 ex Army Dog Unit-NI colleagues are climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Jan 2011 for Help for Heroes charity. the charity is in aid off our wounded service men and women.

Summerplace Cappuccino (Rio) gained his third Challenge Certificate and is now a Champion, thanks to his judge Mrs S Bullock

Also congratulations to Yvonne with Dragonmaine Firethroat gaining 1st and BOB on his first show.

Congratulations also to Gill on brother and sister Coontips Phoenix Firefly gaining his first Premier Cert and Coontips Princess Lola gaining her first Challenge Cert sired by Puff and mum Bluebell.

A great day for the Dragons it was nice to see friends well done to margret on her boy Evo getting his Champion at the show.

Summerplace Cappuccino attended his second show and achieved his second Challenge Certificate.
